The Parrots are a broad order of more than 350 birds. Macaws, Amazons, lorikeets, lovebirds, cockatoos and many others are all considered parrots.

Though there is great diverseness between these birds, there are resemblances as well. All Parrots have curved beaks and all are zygodactyls, which means they have four toes on each foot, two pointing forward and two projecting backward. Most parrots eat fruit, flowers, buds, nuts, seeds, and some small creatures such as insects.

The African wild dog, also called Cape hunting dog or painted dog, typically roams the open plains and sparse woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa.

These long-legged canines have only four toes per foot, unlike other dogs, which have five toes on their forefeet. The dog's Latin name means "painted wolf," referring to the animal's irregular, mottled coat, which features patches of red, black, brown, white, and yellow fur. Each animal has its own unique coat pattern, and all have big, rounded ears.

African wild dogs live in packs that are usually dominated by a monogamous breeding pair. The female has a litter of 2 to 20 pups, which are cared for by the entire pack. These dogs are very social, and packs have been known to share food and to assist weak or ill members. Social interactions are common, and the dogs communicate by touch, actions, and vocalizations.

A varied diet of high quality foods should be your goal. A couple of the highest quality flakes you can get would be a good daily staple. Breeding fish need a higher fat content then most flakes provide. Angels Plus fish flakes have the fat content your breeding Angelfish need. The addition of freeze-dried foods, like plankton, bloodworms, mysis, tubifex or brine shrimp are good supplements. Paste foods can be superior foods if you have the time to make them. Live foods are not necessary, but they will go a long way to providing superior angelfish growth and reproduction. We do not recommend live freshwater animals, unless they are cultured. The chance of introducing harmful parasites or bacteria is too great in our opinion. We specifically do not recommend live blackworms for many reasons. You will be hard pressed to avoid diseases if you feed them. Newly hatched artemia (baby brine shrimp), should be fed as a first food and continuously until the angelfish fry are 4-6 weeks old. Check out our hints for hatching brine shrimp eggs. Raising angelfish on newly hatched brine shrimp is a must for the first 3-4 weeks of their life, if quality is really important to you. Trust us, there are no artemia substitutes that works as well - none! We have experimented with everything and nothing comes close to working as well as the real thing.

Servals are long-legged cats, widely spread in Sub Saharan Africa, with the outstanding functionality of jumping three metres in the air to catch birds and insect damage in flight. Servals are meat-eating and their diet comprises mostly of hares and mole rats, which they catch by pouncing and getting on their sufferers with both front paws. This is in fact a very powerful way of searching and almost half of these huge leaps are prosperous.

The spotted coat of the serval is sometimes marketed as “young leopard” or cheetah, and for that reason attracts a good amount of price on the black market. This, as well as the serval’s proclivity for bulgaria raids, makes it a targeted for predators. Subsequently, servals are no more time found in greatly booming locations.

Most cat species live a fundamentally solitary existence, but the lion is an exception. It has developed a social system based on teamwork and a division of labor within the pride, and an extended but closed family unit centered around a group of related females. The average pride consists of about 15 individuals, including five to 10 females with their young and two or three territorial males that are usually brothers or pride mates.
